Hello again. It’s been a while since
the last newsletter so here is a quick update on upcoming events. The club handicap competition
is about to start. The entry forms have already been posted at the club. The
entry fee, as usual, is £2. This year, as a trial, we have
decided to allow members to enter the competition by email. If you would like
to enter please reply to this email stating your name no later than Wed 25th
February. Entry tickets will still need to be added to the entry form no
later than Friday 27th February in order to confirm your entry.
Any entries that are not confirmed with a ticket in time for the deadline
will be removed from the draw. |
The draw for the competition will
take place on the week commencing 2nd March with the competition
starting on the 16th March. The semi finals will be held on the 28th
April and the finals on the 1st May. This year’s
Competition will be best of three games to try and avoid the time limit rule.
Incidentally the draw for this
year’s summer grand prix competition will also be held on the same
evening. The annual club dinner will be held this year on Friday 13th
March. Once again the form is posted at the club. The cost is £18.50 per
person and the closing date for inclusion is 6th March. Last
year’s event was a huge success so why not come along this year for a
great night out. |
