Special social events are arranged to coincide with the finals of the competitions. The time table is generally as follows:-   April - Club Handicap Competition May to September - Summer Grand Prix (14 Teams of 5 players per team) September into May - Winter Mini Leagues (Normally 18, 5 player leagues) End of November into December - Club Championships First Sunday after Christmas - Veterans Competition (Over 45 for men and over 40 for the women)      External competitions: The club is also represented in the Kirklees and Calderdale Metro leagues with 7 teams including 1 over 45 team and 1 team in the Leeds league. The teams play from September through the winter months.
