Club History The club was built in 1973
 
Monday December 3rd 1973. Yorkshire and England cricketer John Hampshire opened Old Crossleyans' new squash courts at Broomfield before 200 members and guests.

The cost of the project was £15000. Among the amounts received were £5,000 from grants mainly from the Sports Council; £1,250 from a sponsored swim; £3,000 from interest free loans; and £750 from the old scholars' association.

The membership, already fully subscribed, consists of 150 men, 50 ladies and 50 students and juniors.

The glass back court was added in 1986

The bar area was extended in 1991

The changing facilities were modernised in 1995
